Ms. Angelica Valdez

Ms. Angelica Valdez is a seasoned musician and dedicated piano educator whose musical journey began as a child, singing in a local children’s choir and performing at churches and festivals. Her talent and love for music led her to compete in Princeton, New Jersey, laying the foundation for her vibrant performance career.

Ms. Valdez has extensive experience as a solo singer and keyboardist. She has performed at prominent venues and events, including Christmas in the Park, the Alameda and Monterey County Fairs, and the Battle of the Bands in Milpitas. Her artistic achievements also include captivating performances at Santa Clara University and the Triton Museum of Art.

As a passionate music educator, Ms. Valdez has been teaching piano for over two years, guiding students from ages 5 and up through engaging and thoughtful lessons. She has successfully hosted recitals, nurturing young musicians as they share their music with confidence and joy. Her role as an accompanist for CMA’s Children’s Choir further demonstrates her commitment to fostering young talents in both solo and ensemble settings.

Ms. Valdez’s teaching philosophy focuses on building a strong foundation in music theory, sight reading, and performance techniques. She prepares students at all stages—from early beginners to late intermediate levels—for milestones such as the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) Practical and Theory Assessments. With her deep and thorough performance experience, she inspires students to explore their creative potential, fostering both discipline and a lifelong love for music.
